•full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Engineering Designer (Seats) to join our team in the Automotive industry. This is an onsite position requiring a strong understanding of automotive seating systems and design principles. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role will encompass the full product lifecycle, from initial design concepts through manufacturing and validation. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs that meet stringent automotive standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Product Design: Demonstrated ability to create innovative and functional designs, considering aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability. Product Development: Experience in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production. Automotive Seating System Components: A thorough understanding of the design, materials, and manufacturing processes related to automotive seating system components. NX: Proficiency in utilizing NX for 3D modeling, drafting, and assembly design. Team center: Experience with Team center for product data management and collaboration. Enovia PLM System: Familiarity with Enovia PLM System for managing product lifecycle information. Manufacturing: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on design decisions. Assembly Feasibility Study: Ability to conduct thorough assembly feasibility studies to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective. DVP&R: Understanding of Design Verification and Validation ( DVP&R ) principles and their application to automotive seating systems. DFMEA: Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis ( DFMEA ) to identify and mitigate potential design risks. Regulatory Requirements: A strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. NCAP: Knowledge of NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) requirements and their impact on seating system design. Foam: Understanding of foam materials and their application in automotive seating. Plastic Molding: Familiarity with plastic molding processes and their application to seating components. Automotive Seats: Comprehensive knowledge of automotive seat design, construction, and testing. Qualifications: A B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech (Full –Time) in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineering is required. What We Offer Salary: Not specified.
