IT Operations Support Specialist Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Chennai. This role will be responsible for providing operational support and ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for problem-solving. Key Responsibilities This role will focus on providing operational support and ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT systems. Specific responsibilities will be defined upon onboarding. Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java , JavaScript , Python , and C# is essential. This includes a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience in developing and debugging code. Frontend Frameworks: Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular , React , and Vue.js is required. This includes the ability to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Database Management: Solid experience with relational databases including MSSQL , POSTGRES , MySQL , and Database - Oracle . This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining database schemas, as well as writing efficient queries. Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable. Issue Tracking: Experience using JIRA for issue tracking and project management. Data Formats: Understanding of JSON for data exchange. API Technologies: Experience with API Integration , including both REST and SOAP protocols. Software Testing: A foundational understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work with a keen eye for detail. Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required. Experience Required: 5 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
