Virtual Analysis Engineer Aerothermal Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Virtual Analysis Engineer Aerothermal to join our team in Chennai. This role will focus on virtual analysis and simulation to support the development of automotive components and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermal simulations, along with proficiency in industry-standard CFD software. Key Responsibilities The Virtual Analysis Engineer Aerothermal will be responsible for performing a range of analyses and simulations to support the design and development process. This includes generating design proposals , conducting multi-phase simulations and thermal simulations , and presenting findings to stakeholders. The role requires a collaborative approach, working effectively within a team to achieve project goals. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) in Mechanical, Automobile, or Aerospace Engineering is required. An advanced degree (M.E. / M.Tech.) is preferred. Experience: 1-4 years of experience in virtual analysis and simulation within the automotive or a related industry is expected. This level of experience indicates a foundational understanding of analysis techniques and the ability to contribute effectively to a team. CFD Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing CFD software, including ANSAS , Star CCM+ , OpenFoam , and PowerFlow . Thermal Simulation: Strong understanding of thermal simulations and their application to automotive components. Fluid Dynamics: A solid foundation in fluid dynamics principles. Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS-Office suite for documentation and reporting. Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills to interpret simulation results and identify areas for improvement. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, to effectively present findings and collaborate with team members. Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver clear and concise presentations . Teamwork: Ability to function effectively as a team player . Professional Attributes: A positive attitude , proactive approach, and self-motivated work ethic are essential. Specialized Software: Familiarity with Taitherm and Preonlab is a plus.
