Native Development: Strong understanding of JNI and AIDL for interoperability between Java and native code. Security: Familiarity with SELinux and its application to Android systems. Android Open Source Project (AOSP): Experience working with and customizing the AOSP codebase. Automotive Experience: Experience with AAOS (Android Automotive OS) and In-Vehicle Infotainment systems is highly desirable. Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL): Solid understanding of HAL and HAL Service , including Vehicle HAL and VHAL Service . Android Framework Service: Experience with Android Framework Service and its interaction with other system components. Inter-Process Communication (IPC): Knowledge of Binder IPC for communication between Android processes. Build Systems: Experience with Soong , Blueprint , Android.bp , and Android.mk build systems. Location Services: Familiarity with GNSS , GNSS HAL , LocationManagerService , and Fused Location Provider for location-based services. Experience Required: The ideal candidate will have 5 - 8 years of experience in Android development, demonstrating a senior level of proficiency.
