Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a SW Update specialist. This role will be based in Bangalore and will focus on the development, implementation, and maintenance of software update solutions within the IT / Technology industry.

The responsibilities of this role will include ensuring the successful deployment and reliability of software updates, contributing to architecture reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software updates seamlessly into our systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Android: Demonstrated proficiency in Android development and understanding of the Android ecosystem.
- HAL: Experience with Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and its role in software integration.
- SWUpdate: Deep understanding of SWUpdate principles and practical experience in implementing software update solutions.
- Update Engine: Expertise in designing and implementing robust and efficient Update Engine components.
- Partition table: Knowledge of Partition table management and its impact on software updates.
- Android Security: Strong understanding of Android Security best practices and their application to software updates.
- Bootup: Familiarity with the Bootup process and its interaction with software updates.
- CPP: Proficiency in C++ programming language.
- Java: Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Linux: Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and their application to embedded systems.
- Cockpit: Experience with Cockpit for software update management and monitoring.
- CCU: Knowledge of Car Connectivity Unit (CCU) and its role in vehicle integration.
- OTA: Expertise in Over-The-Air (OTA) update technologies and implementation.
- Boot Control: Understanding of Boot Control mechanisms and their impact on software updates.
- Partition layouts: Knowledge of Partition layouts and their optimization for software updates.
- Update strategies: Ability to design and implement effective Update strategies.
- Image authentication: Experience with Image authentication techniques to ensure software integrity.
- Signing: Knowledge of Signing processes for software updates.
- Encryption: Understanding of Encryption techniques for secure software updates.
- Rollback protection: Ability to implement Rollback protection mechanisms to ensure system stability.
- Vehicle Integration: Experience with Vehicle Integration processes and considerations.
- System-level optimization: Ability to perform System-level optimization to improve software update performance.
- Update performance: Focus on optimizing Update performance to minimize downtime.
- Update reliability: Commitment to ensuring Update reliability and minimizing errors.
- Update recovery: Ability to design and implement Update recovery mechanisms.
- Customer integrations: Experience with Customer integrations related to software updates.
