•full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented DRE – Switches professional to join our team in Pune. This role will focus on the development, validation, and integration of various switch modules for automotive applications. Key Responsibilities This role will be responsible for a wide range of switch-related activities, including but not limited to: Developing and defining switch circuit architectures. Performing voltage and current analysis to ensure optimal switch performance. Coordinating PCB interface and connector selection. Implementing ESD protection measures. Developing switch illumination strategies, including LED illumination and dimming. Coordinating with EMC/EMI teams to ensure compliance. Defining harness interfaces and coordinating with electrical engineering teams. Developing switch matrixes and integrating capacitive sensing capabilities. Performing short circuit and overload protection analysis. Integrating switches with electronic control units ( ECUs ). Defining diagnostic strategies for switch functionality. Integrating LIN slave modules. Managing switch illumination dimming strategies and power mode management. Ensuring technical feasibility and design robustness of switch solutions. Overseeing vehicle-level switch integration. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree ( B.E. / B. Tech. / M. E / M. Tech ) in Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical, or Electronics & Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in Driver Switches , Passenger Switches , and Non-Ergonomic Switches . Strong understanding of EE Architecture and the ability to create and interpret Circuit Diagrams . Experience with CATIA and CAD Packaging for switch design and modeling. Familiarity with Engineering Change management processes. Knowledge of Homologation and Regulation Compliance requirements. Experience with Product Release cycles and Supplier Management . Ability to contribute to Weight Reduction and Cost Reduction initiatives. Experience with Validation processes and APQP methodologies. Familiarity with PLM systems. Knowledge of various switch types including HVAC/FATC control switches , Rotary Knobs , Capacitive Touch Panels , Push Buttons , and Haptic Feedback Mechanisms . Experience with Illumination Guides , Symbols , Decorative Bezels , and Trims . Familiarity with Steering Wheel Switches , Audio Control Switches , Cruise Control Switches , and ADAS Switches . Experience with Paddle Switches , Backlit Switch Modules , and Steering Wheel Mounted Controls . Understanding of Airbag Package Interface Coordination . Experience with Window Switches , Seat Switches , Sunroof Switches , and Hazard Switches . Familiarity with Console Switches , Roof Control Switches , and Ambient Control Switches . Ability to define Switch Circuit Architecture . Experience with LED Illumination Development . Ability to coordinate PCB Interface Coordination . Knowledge of Connector Selection and Terminal Selection . Experience with ESD Protection Implementation . Ability to perform Backlighting Development . Ability to coordinate EMC/EMI Requirement Coordination . Ability to define Harness Interface Definition . Ability to coordinate CAN/LIN Communication Coordination .
