Job Summary We are seeking a Software System Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role will focus on the design, development, and validation of system-level software solutions within the IT / Technology industry. Key Responsibilities The Software System Engineer will be responsible for a range of tasks related to system design, analysis, and documentation. This includes participating in requirements, design, and architecture reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of our systems. Required Skills & Qualifications Software System Engineering: Demonstrated ability to apply software system engineering principles to complex systems, ensuring robust and reliable performance. PID Control: Proficiency in the design and implementation of Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control systems for precise control of various parameters. MATLAB: Experience utilizing MATLAB for modeling, simulation, and analysis of control systems. Simulink: Familiarity with Simulink for creating and simulating dynamic systems. Control Design: Ability to design and implement effective control strategies to meet specific performance requirements. Calibration: Experience with calibration techniques to ensure accurate system performance. System-Level Software: Understanding of system-level software development principles and practices. Thermal Print Mechanisms: Knowledge of thermal print mechanisms and their integration into larger systems. Force/Pressure Control: Experience in designing and implementing control systems for force and pressure regulation. High-Speed Media Transport: Understanding of high-speed media transport systems and their control requirements. Motor Torque-Speed Characteristics: Ability to analyze and utilize motor torque-speed characteristics in system design. Requirements Review: Ability to participate in and contribute to thorough requirements review processes. Design Review: Ability to participate in and contribute to thorough design review processes. Architecture Review: Ability to participate in and contribute to thorough architecture review processes. FMEA: Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis ( FMEA ) to identify and mitigate potential system failures. Defect Prevention: Ability to proactively identify and implement measures to prevent defects in system design and implementation. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze complex systems and identify potential issues. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve system-related challenges. Technical Documentation: Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Python: Proficiency in Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation. Data Analysis: Ability to perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
