Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software System Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role will focus on the design, development, and validation of system-level software control functions for our technology products.

The Software System Engineer will be responsible for a range of tasks including the development of control strategies, calibration of systems, and the creation of comprehensive technical documentation. The role requires a strong analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to effectively communicate technical information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software System Engineering: Demonstrated proficiency in software system engineering principles and practices, with a focus on real-time and embedded systems.
• PID Control: Deep understanding of Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control theory and practical application.
• MATLAB: Expertise in using MATLAB for modeling, simulation, and analysis of control systems.
• Simulink: Proficiency in utilizing Simulink for system simulation and control system design.
• Control Strategies: Ability to develop and implement effective control strategies for complex systems.
• Calibration: Experience with system calibration techniques and methodologies.
• System-Level Software Control Functions: Ability to design and implement system-level software control functions.
• Real-Time Software: Knowledge of real-time software development principles and practices.
• Embedded Control: Experience in embedded control systems design and implementation.
• Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• FMEA: Familiarity with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving skills with a systematic and detail-oriented approach.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Python: Proficiency in Python for scripting and data analysis.
• Sensor Feedback: Understanding of sensor feedback systems and their integration into control systems.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in software system engineering, demonstrating a strong track record of success in designing and implementing complex control systems. This level of experience indicates a senior-level role requiring independent work and mentorship capabilities.
