Key Responsibilities This role will be responsible for a range of tasks related to vehicle performance, including root cause analysis, validation testing, and fleet management. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and other stakeholders to ensure vehicle performance meets established standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Vehicle Performance : Demonstrated expertise in vehicle performance analysis, including understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain performance, and overall vehicle behavior. RCA (Root Cause Analysis) : Proven ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of vehicle performance issues. This includes utilizing various analytical tools and methodologies to systematically investigate and resolve problems. Validation : Experience in designing and executing validation plans to ensure vehicle performance meets specified requirements. This includes developing test procedures, analyzing test data, and documenting validation results. Passenger Vehicle : A strong understanding of passenger vehicle systems and their interaction, including experience with various vehicle platforms and configurations. Durability : Knowledge of durability testing methodologies and experience in evaluating vehicle durability under various operating conditions. Reliability : A solid understanding of reliability principles and experience in applying reliability engineering techniques to improve vehicle reliability. RAF (Reliability Analysis Framework) : Familiarity with Reliability Analysis Frameworks and their application to vehicle performance assessment. Fleet Management : Experience in managing vehicle fleets, including tracking vehicle performance data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions. Experience Required : 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in vehicle performance analysis or a related field. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough Vehicle Validation and performance assessments. This includes identifying and addressing potential issues throughout the vehicle lifecycle, from initial design to ongoing Fleet Management . The role requires a proactive approach to Issue Identification and a commitment to achieving optimal vehicle performance. Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Background: A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required. Experience: A minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in vehicle performance, durability, or reliability engineering is expected. This level of experience should demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex vehicle performance challenges and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth Data Analysis to identify trends and patterns related to vehicle performance. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong Problem-Solving Skills are essential for effectively addressing vehicle performance issues and developing sustainable solutions. RCA Techniques: Proficiency in applying Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) methodologies to systematically identify the underlying causes of vehicle failures and performance degradation. Durability & Reliability Expertise: A strong understanding of Durability and Reliability principles, including the ability to design and execute Durability Cycles to assess vehicle performance under various operating conditions. Vehicle Systems Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of both ICE Vehicle Systems and BEV Vehicle Systems , including their respective performance characteristics and potential failure modes. Degradation Trend Analysis: Ability to perform Degradation Trend Analysis to predict future performance issues and proactively implement preventative measures. Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills are required to effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Cross-functional Alignment: Ability to foster Cross-functional Alignment across various engineering and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to vehicle performance and reliability.
