•full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Layout Engineer to join our team in the Automotive industry. This role will be responsible for creating and optimizing layouts for manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to engineering standards. The position requires onsite presence. Key Responsibilities The Layout Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of efficient and safe manufacturing layouts. This includes the creation of detailed 2D and 3D layouts, careful consideration of equipment placement , and optimization of workstations , conveyors , and fixtures . The role also involves collaboration with Process Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of layout designs with overall production processes. The engineer will produce and maintain accurate engineering drawings . Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Background: A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree is required. Software Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD / Factory CAD / Micro Station Layout Design Expertise: Proven ability to develop comprehensive Layout Design solutions, incorporating both 2D and 3D perspectives. Engineering Drawing Skills: Strong skills in creating and interpreting engineering drawings , ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Process Understanding: A foundational understanding of Process Engineering principles and their impact on manufacturing layout design. Spatial Reasoning: Excellent spatial reasoning skills to effectively plan and optimize equipment placement , workstations , conveyors , and fixtures within a manufacturing environment. Experience Required: 2 - 4 years of experience in a related field is expected, demonstrating a solid foundation in layout design and a growing level of proficiency in applying engineering principles to manufacturing environments.
