We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Layout Engineer to join our team in the Automotive industry. This role will be responsible for creating and optimizing layouts for manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to engineering standards. The position requires onsite presence.
The Layout Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of efficient and safe manufacturing layouts. This includes the creation of detailed 2D and 3D layouts, careful consideration of equipment placement, and optimization of workstations, conveyors, and fixtures. The role also involves collaboration with Process Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of layout designs with overall production processes. The engineer will produce and maintain accurate engineering drawings.
Experience Required: 2 - 4 years of experience in a related field is expected, demonstrating a solid foundation in layout design and a growing level of proficiency in applying engineering principles to manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
