•full time Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DCL Quality professional to join our team in the Automotive industry. This is an onsite position requiring a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design and quality processes within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of designs and components throughout the development lifecycle. Specific responsibilities will include analyzing designs, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred, demonstrating a commitment to advanced knowledge and expertise in the field. CAD proficiency is essential, with experience in utilizing CAD software for design analysis and validation. TCE experience is required, demonstrating a strong understanding of tolerance stack-up and its impact on product quality. PLM experience is necessary, with a proven ability to manage and track design changes within a PLM system. CN sweeps expertise is needed, with a solid understanding of their application in design and manufacturing. Ability to create Suspension kinematics mechanism designs, demonstrating a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Motion simulation skills are required, with the ability to use simulation tools to analyze and optimize designs. Problem-solving skills are critical, with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex design issues. Communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Teamwork skills are vital, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Analytical Skills are required, with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions. Strategic thinking skills are needed, with the ability to anticipate future challenges and develop proactive solutions. GD&T knowledge is essential, with a thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles. Clash and Clearance analysis experience is required, with the ability to identify and resolve potential interference issues. Packaging expertise is needed, with a strong understanding of how to optimize designs for manufacturability and assembly. Experience Required: 6 - 9 years of experience in a related field. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of independent work and mentoring junior team members.
