•full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Software professional specializing in Autodesk Inventor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an onsite position requiring a strong understanding of design principles and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this role is to utilize CAD software to create and modify designs, ensuring adherence to design standards and manufacturing requirements. This includes developing detailed 2D drawings and complex 3D models, as well as managing assemblies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for manufacturability. Required Skills & Qualifications CAD Software Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing CAD software for design and drafting purposes. Autodesk Inventor: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor , including experience in creating and modifying parts, assemblies, and drawings. AutoCAD: Working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and design. PLM/ERP Systems: Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, with the ability to integrate CAD data into these systems. CAD 2D Drawings & 3D Models: Ability to create accurate and detailed 2D drawings and complex 3D models. Assemblies: Experience in managing and designing complex assemblies . Design Standards: Thorough understanding of and adherence to design standards and best practices. PLM & ERP: Knowledge of PLM and ERP principles and their application in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing Processes: Solid understanding of various manufacturing processes , including Molding , Stamping , Casting , Welding , and Soldering . Conceptual Design: Ability to translate conceptual ideas into detailed CAD models. Component Modelling: Expertise in creating accurate and detailed component models . Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology degree is required. Experience Required: 4-8 years of relevant experience in a CAD design role within a manufacturing environment.
