Key Responsibilities This role will be responsible for a range of tasks related to robotic simulation, including the creation of simulation reports, program generation and optimization, and ensuring robot safety. The role will also require independent work and coordination with cross-functional teams to finalize layouts and validate tooling. Required Skills & Qualifications BIW Simulation : Demonstrated proficiency in simulating Body-in-White (BIW) processes using simulation software. BIW Manufacturing Processes : A thorough understanding of BIW manufacturing processes and their impact on robotic operations. Cell Building : Experience in the design and simulation of robotic workcells. Tool Validation : Ability to validate tooling designs through simulation to ensure optimal robotic performance. Robot Reachability : Expertise in analyzing robot reachability to ensure efficient and effective robotic operations. Robot Accessibility Analysis : Ability to perform accessibility analysis to identify and mitigate potential limitations in robotic workspace. Collision-Free Robotic Operations : Ability to design and simulate collision-free robotic operations. Engineering Drawings: Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering Drawings to understand manufacturing requirements and constraints. Responsibilities will include: Designing and developing fixtures for Body-in-White (BIW) assembly lines. Creating detailed C ATIA and NX models and drawings.
