Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role is critical to the development and support of our embedded systems, requiring a strong foundation in embedded C programming and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and debugging of embedded software for our products. This includes working closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Embedded C Programming: Demonstrated proficiency in Embedded C programming, including a deep understanding of memory management, data structures, and algorithms.
• Microcontrollers: Extensive experience working with Microcontrollers, including architecture understanding and peripheral configuration.
• ADC, PWM, SPI, QSPI, DIO: Strong knowledge of analog-to-digital converters (ADC), pulse-width modulation (PWM), Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), Quad SPI (QSPI), and Digital Input/Output (DIO) for interfacing with various hardware components.
• MCU Configuration: Ability to configure MCU (Microcontroller Unit) peripherals and settings to meet specific application requirements.
• CAN Stack, CAN NM: Experience with CAN (Controller Area Network) protocols, including CAN Stack implementation and CAN NM (Controller Network Management).
• ComM, XCP, Diagnostics: Familiarity with communication protocols such as ComM, XCP (XCP - eXchange of Control Parameters), and Diagnostics for embedded systems.
• Debugging: Proven ability to effectively Debug embedded software using various tools and techniques.
• ECU Management: Experience in ECU (Electronic Control Unit) management, including configuration and calibration.
• Scheduler Configuration: Ability to configure and optimize Scheduler configurations for real-time embedded systems.
• Software Integration: Demonstrated skills in Software Integration, ensuring seamless interaction between different software modules.
• Testing: Experience with various Testing methodologies for embedded software, including unit testing and integration testing.
• Board Bring-up: Ability to perform Board Bring-up activities, including initial hardware testing and software loading.
• Hardware Debugging: Proficiency in Hardware Debugging techniques to identify and resolve hardware-related issues.
• Power Electronics: Understanding of Power Electronics principles and their application in embedded systems.
• TI C2000 Microcontrollers: Specific experience with TI C2000 Microcontrollers is highly desirable.
• Controller Debugging: Ability to perform Controller Debugging to identify and resolve issues related to controller functionality.

Experience Required: 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in embedded software development. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of independently designing, developing, and debugging complex embedded systems. A strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle is expected.
