Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerothermal & HVAC Project Performance Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring the performance and quality of aerothermal and HVAC systems within our automotive and technology projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and a proven ability to manage and coordinate complex engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Aerothermal & HVAC Project Performance Engineer will be responsible for a range of tasks related to project performance, including:

• Overseeing and analyzing project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Developing and implementing strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Providing regular management reporting on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Facilitating cross-functional coordination between various engineering teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Project Performance Engineering: Demonstrated ability to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering projects, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Functional Synthesis: Proficiency in synthesizing functional requirements and translating them into actionable engineering tasks.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Excellent ability to collaborate and coordinate activities across multiple engineering disciplines and departments.
• Validation Planning: Experience in developing comprehensive validation plans to ensure the quality and reliability of aerothermal and HVAC systems.
• Test-Data Synthesis: Ability to generate and analyze test data to validate system performance and identify potential issues.
• Management Reporting: Strong skills in preparing and delivering clear and concise management reports on project status and performance.
• Aerothermal Validation: Knowledge of aerothermal validation methodologies and techniques.
• Hvac Testing: Experience with HVAC testing procedures and equipment.
• Thermal Performance: Understanding of thermal performance principles and their application to automotive and technology systems.
• Cad Review: Ability to review and interpret CAD drawings and models.
• CfD/1D Simulation Review: Experience reviewing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and 1D simulation results.
• Dvp: Familiarity with Design Verification Plan (DVP) processes.
• Vehicle Instrumentation: Knowledge of vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Road Trip Testing: Experience with road trip testing methodologies.
• Lab Testing: Proficiency in conducting lab testing and analyzing results.
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Scorecard: Experience in developing and utilizing scorecards to track project performance.
• Plm: Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Microsoft Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, including PowerPoint, Excel (including Macro capabilities), and Word.
• Power Bi: Experience using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide teams.
• Team Spirit: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Networking: Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
