Key Responsibilities This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of designs and components throughout the development lifecycle. Specific responsibilities will include analyzing designs, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred, demonstrating a commitment to advanced knowledge and expertise in the field. CAD proficiency is essential, with experience in utilizing CAD software for design analysis and validation. TCE experience is required, demonstrating a strong understanding of tolerance stack-up and its impact on product quality. PLM experience is necessary, with a proven ability to manage and track design changes within a PLM system. CN sweeps expertise is needed, with a solid understanding of their application in design and manufacturing. Ability to create Suspension kinematics mechanism designs, demonstrating a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Motion simulation skills are required, with the ability to use simulation tools to analyze and optimize designs. Problem-solving skills are critical, with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex design issues. Communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Teamwork skills are vital, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Analytical Skills are required, with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions. Key Responsibilities The DCL_Design Integrity role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the design integrity of our products. This includes identifying potential design flaws, implementing preventative measures, and ensuring adherence to established design standards and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions to support design decisions. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve design-related problems effectively and efficiently. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and anticipate potential design challenges, proactively developing solutions to mitigate risks. TCE: Proficiency in TCE methodologies and their application to design integrity. PLM: Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and their role in managing design data and workflows.
