•full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hybrid Vehicle Simulations Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of remote and on-site work. Key Responsibilities This role will focus on the simulation and analysis of hybrid vehicle systems, contributing to the optimization of performance and adherence to regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their expertise to solve complex engineering challenges and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions to support engineering decisions. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems related to hybrid vehicle simulations. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. MATLAB: Proficiency in utilizing MATLAB for data analysis, algorithm development, and simulation. Simulink: Expertise in building and simulating dynamic systems using Simulink . Stateflow: Experience with Stateflow for modeling and simulating state-based systems. GT-SUITE: Familiarity with GT-SUITE for vehicle performance simulation and analysis. AVL CRUISE M: Experience with AVL CRUISE M for vehicle powertrain simulation and optimization. AMESim: Proficiency in using AMESim for multi-physics simulation. Optimization Techniques: Knowledge of various optimization techniques to improve system performance and efficiency. ModeFrontier: Experience with ModeFrontier for uncertainty analysis and design optimization. Python: Ability to utilize Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation. Thermal Systems: Understanding of thermal systems within a vehicle environment. Climate Systems: Knowledge of climate systems and their impact on vehicle performance and passenger comfort. Passenger Comfort: Consideration of passenger comfort in simulation and design. EPA Emissions Regulations: Familiarity with EPA emissions regulations and their impact on vehicle design. Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of simulation results. Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience Required: 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in vehicle simulation or a related field.
