Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Automation Testing Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our products within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Python and a passion for creating robust and efficient automated tests. Key Responsibilities The Python Automation Testing Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of automated tests. This includes identifying areas for test automation, creating and maintaining test scripts, and analyzing test results to identify and resolve defects. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Required Skills & Qualifications Python : Proficiency in Python programming language is essential, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation. PyTest : Experience using PyTest as a testing framework to design, execute, and report on test results. Robot Framework : Familiarity with Robot Framework for creating and managing automated test cases. Git : Strong understanding of Git version control system for collaborative development and code management. Cursor AI : Experience with Cursor AI is a plus. Automotive Testing : A solid understanding of testing methodologies within the automotive industry, including experience with relevant standards and regulations. Debugging : Proven ability to effectively debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Test Automation : Comprehensive knowledge of test automation principles and best practices, with a focus on creating reusable and scalable test scripts. Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical skills to evaluate test results, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Problem-Solving Skills : Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address complex technical challenges and find creative solutions. Communication Skills : Effective communication skills to clearly and concisely convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience Required: 3 - 6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of independently designing and executing complex test plans, as well as mentoring junior team members.
