Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Safe Release Train Engineer to join our growing IT / Technology team in Pune. This role is critical to the successful delivery of our Agile initiatives and requires a strong understanding of SAFe principles and practices. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to facilitate and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities The Safe Release Train Engineer will be responsible for facilitating events and driving execution of the Program Increment (PI) plans. This includes ensuring that Agile teams are aligned, dependencies are managed effectively, and risks are mitigated proactively. The role will also involve collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to ensure transparency and alignment on program goals and progress. Required Skills & Qualifications Agile Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies, including a deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban principles. SAFe Framework: Extensive knowledge and practical experience applying the SAFe framework to large-scale Agile development efforts. Program Management: Proven ability to manage programs effectively, including defining scope, timelines, and resources. Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Executive Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to executive audiences. Facilitation: Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and workshops effectively. Conflict Resolution: Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts constructively. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform decision-making. Continuous Improvement: A passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to driving positive change. Agile Lifecycle Management: Comprehensive understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle. Azure DevOps : Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project management and collaboration. Jira : Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking, project management, and reporting. Power BI : Ability to leverage Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Release Train Engineer : Deep understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Release Train Engineer within the SAFe framework. Program Execution Leadership: Ability to provide leadership and guidance to program teams. Delivery Plans: Experience creating and managing delivery plans. Dependency Management: Ability to identify, track, and resolve dependencies effectively. Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively. Agile Delivery: Proven track record of successfully delivering Agile projects. Agile Maturity: Ability to assess and improve Agile maturity within an organization. Operational Efficiency: Focus on improving operational efficiency through Agile practices. PI Review: Experience facilitating and participating in Program Increment (PI) reviews. Agile Transformation Initiatives: Experience supporting and driving Agile transformation initiatives. Distributed Engineering Teams: Experience working with and supporting distributed engineering teams. Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline. Experience : 8-9 years of relevant experience in a related field.
