Job Summary We are seeking four skilled Software Engineers to join our team in Chennai. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in data management and a passion for leveraging SAP technologies to drive business solutions. Key Responsibilities The Software Engineer will be responsible for a range of data-related tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading ( ETL ). They will also be involved in the technical specification documentation and ensuring smooth production cutovers through rigorous testing and rehearsals. Required Skills & Qualifications SAP S/4 HANA : Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing SAP S/4 HANA for data management and application development. SAP BODS : Expertise in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Data Migration Cockpit: Familiarity with the Data Migration Cockpit for efficient data migration activities. LSMW : Strong understanding and practical experience with LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) for data transfer and migration. IDOC Loading Method : Knowledge of IDOC (Intermediate Document) loading methods for seamless data exchange. Data Extraction: Ability to extract data from various sources using appropriate techniques. Data Transformation: Skill in transforming data to meet specific requirements and ensure data quality. Data Loading: Experience in loading data into target systems accurately and efficiently. ETL : Solid understanding of ETL principles and practices. BAPI : Proficiency in utilizing BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface) for data access and manipulation. File-based Data Loading: Ability to load data from various file formats. BODS Scripting : Ability to write and maintain BODS scripts for data transformation and loading. SQL : Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and analysis. Data Validation: Ability to perform thorough data validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Data Transformation: Skill in transforming data to meet specific requirements and ensure data quality. Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize data processes for improved performance. Technical Specification Documentation: Ability to create clear and concise technical specifications. Production Cutover: Experience in planning and executing production cutovers. Mock Runs: Ability to conduct thorough mock runs to identify and resolve potential issues. Dress Rehearsals: Ability to participate in dress rehearsals to ensure a smooth production cutover. Experience Required: 6 + years of experience in a related field.
