Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced PCB Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for the design and development of printed circuit boards ( PCBs ) for our computer and network security products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of PCB design principles, component selection, and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities The PCB Engineer will be responsible for the following: Design PCBs according to specifications, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability. Create and manage Gerber Files for fabrication and assembly. Select appropriate SMD Components based on performance, cost, and availability. Perform EMI/EMC considerations during the design process to minimise electromagnetic interference. Required Skills & Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following: Proficiency in PCB design software, including OrCAD and Altium . Strong understanding of PCB design principles, including signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management. Experience with SMD Components and their application in PCB designs. Familiarity with Gerber Files and their role in the manufacturing process. Knowledge of EMI/EMC design considerations and mitigation techniques. A foundational degree, such as 'Any Degree'. Experience Required: The position requires 6 - 9 years of experience in PCB design and development. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of independently managing PCB design projects and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
