SACHA Engineering••full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIW Fixture Design professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for the design and development of fixtures used in the Body-in-White (BIW) manufacturing process within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, proficiency in CATIA and NX , and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs that meet stringent automotive manufacturing standards. Key Responsibilities This role will focus on the design and development of BIW fixtures, ensuring they meet the required specifications and contribute to efficient and accurate manufacturing processes. Responsibilities will include: Designing and developing fixtures for Body-in-White (BIW) assembly lines. Creating detailed C ATIA and NX models and drawings. Collaborating with manufacturing engineers and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Adhering to strict quality control measures and industry best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology degree is required. 2 - 5 years of experience in fixture design, preferably within the automotive industry. This level of experience indicates a proficiency in design principles and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Proficiency in CATIA and NX for 3D modeling and design. Strong understanding of 3D Detailing and 2D Detailing principles. Ability to create and interpret Engineering Drawings . Knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing Processes , specifically related to Body-in-White (BIW) assembly. Demonstrated experience in Biw Fixture Design . Familiarity with Concepts software is a plus.
