Virtual Analysis Engineer Safety Biomechanics

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Analysis Engineer specializing in Safety Biomechanics to join our team in Chennai. This role will focus on performing virtual analysis and simulations to ensure the safety and performance of our automotive products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and experience with industry-standard PRIMER, ANSA, and LS-DYNA software.

Key Responsibilities

The Virtual Analysis Engineer will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses and simulations related to vehicle safety and biomechanics. This includes performing Human Body Model (HBM) Simulations, conducting Failure Analysis, and contributing to the development of Design Proposals. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. This includes a strong foundation in statistical analysis and the ability to interpret simulation results effectively.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges related to vehicle safety and biomechanics. This requires a systematic approach to problem-solving and a commitment to finding innovative solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in using industry-standard simulation software, including PRIMER, ANSA, and LS-DYNA.
• Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Linux Scripting and Python, including experience with Jupyter Notebook for data analysis and visualization.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools: Familiarity with AI Tools and their application to simulation and analysis.
• Human Body Model (HBM) Simulations: Experience in developing and executing Human Body Model (HBM) Simulations to assess the impact of vehicle crashes on human occupants.
• Failure Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough Failure Analysis to identify the root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Design Proposals: Capability to contribute to the development of Design Proposals that incorporate safety and biomechanical considerations.

Education: A B.E, B.Tech (Mechanical, Automobile), M.C.E, or M.Tech degree is required.

Experience: 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in virtual analysis and simulation, preferably within the automotive industry. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of independently managing complex projects and mentoring junior engineers.
