Virtual Analysis Engineer L2 Safety

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Virtual Analysis Engineer L2 Safety to join our team in Chennai. This role will focus on performing virtual analysis and simulations to ensure the safety and performance of our automotive products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CAE analysis techniques and a passion for contributing to a safe and reliable vehicle design.

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve a range of responsibilities centered around virtual analysis and safety assessments. You will be expected to contribute to the development and validation of safety models and simulations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and performance requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to integrate analysis results into the overall design process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree (B.E, B.Tech) or Master's degree (M.E, M.Tech) in Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering is required.
• Experience: 3-7 years of experience in virtual analysis, specifically within the automotive industry, is expected. This level of experience indicates a proficiency in applying CAE techniques to solve complex engineering problems and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CAE Analysis: Demonstrated expertise in CAE analysis, including finite element analysis (FEA) and crash simulations.
• Safety FE Models: Proficiency in developing and utilizing Safety FE Models to assess vehicle safety performance.
• Sled Simulations: Experience with Sled simulations to evaluate crashworthiness and impact resistance.
• Full Vehicle Occupant Simulations: Ability to conduct Full Vehicle Occupant Simulations to assess occupant safety during crash events.
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ANSA and LS-DYNA for performing finite element analysis and crash simulations.
• Engineering Fundamentals: Solid foundation in Classical Mechanics, Applied Mechanics, and Strength of Materials.
• Human Body Model (HBM): Familiarity with Human Body Model (HBM) techniques for simulating occupant response in crash scenarios.
• Scripting: Ability to utilize Scripting to automate analysis tasks and improve efficiency.
• AI Tools: Experience with AI tools for data analysis and optimization.
• Materials Knowledge: Understanding of the behavior of Metals and Composite parts under various loading conditions.
• Failure Analysis: Ability to perform Failure analysis to identify potential weaknesses in vehicle designs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with Cross-functional performance requirements teams to ensure alignment on safety goals.
• Design Proposals: Ability to contribute to Design proposals and provide feedback based on analysis results.
• Communication Skills: Excellent
