Senior Engineer – Suspension Structure

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer – Suspension Structure to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer – Suspension Structure will be responsible for a range of tasks related to the design, analysis, and validation of suspension systems. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting thorough Root Cause Analysis to identify and resolve issues, leading Tech Review meetings to ensure design integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the Assembly Process. The role also involves contributing to the Product Development Process from concept to production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering. A minimum of 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in the automotive or related industry is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex engineering problems, interpret data, and develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Catia: Proficiency in utilizing Catia for 3D modeling and design of suspension components.
• Ug-Nx: Experience with Ug-Nx for engineering design and analysis.
• Team Center: Familiarity with Team Center for Product Data Management (PDM).
• Plm: Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles and their application.
• Dfmea: Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) methodologies.
• Dvp&r: Experience with Design Verification and Validation (DVP&R) processes.
• Control Plan: Ability to develop and implement effective Control Plans to ensure product quality.
• Pfmea: Understanding of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Ppap: Familiarity with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements.
• Root Cause Analysis: Proven ability to conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis to identify and resolve issues.
• DFSS: Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) principles.
• Fatigue: Understanding of Fatigue analysis and its application to suspension components.
• NVH: Knowledge of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) principles and their impact on vehicle performance.
• Vehicle Dynamics: Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics and their influence on suspension design.
• Spring and Damper Design: Experience in Spring and Damper Design.
• Bushing Stiffness Calculation: Ability to perform Bushing Stiffness Calculation.
• Suspension Alignment: Knowledge of Suspension Alignment principles.
• Assembly Process: Understanding of the Assembly Process and its impact on product quality.
• Module Development: Experience in Module Development.
• Supplier Evaluation: Ability to participate in Supplier Evaluation processes.
• Tech Review: Experience in leading and participating in Tech Review meetings.
