SCM Analyst

Job Summary

The SCM Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing the supply chain operations within our organization, ensuring seamless integration and management of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, and delivery of products. With a strong foundation in Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals and a keen analytical mindset, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, managing suppliers, and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

Operating within the automotive industry, this role demands a deep understanding of the sector's unique challenges and dynamics. The SCM Analyst will be an integral part of our team, working closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic initiatives that enhance our supply chain's agility, reliability, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements, leveraging analytical skills to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet organizational needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Apply SCM fundamentals to optimize supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify and mitigate risks, improve quality, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering, complemented by relevant experience in supply chain management or a related field.

Key skills required for this role include:

• SCM Fundamentals: A solid understanding of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
• Supplier Management: Proven ability to manage and develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Six Sigma: Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and their application in process improvement and quality management.

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a related role is required, with a demonstrated track record of analyzing supply chain operations, managing suppliers, and driving process improvements.
