Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on supporting and enhancing our SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) module. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management principles, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the SAP S/4HANA MM module.
- Configuring and customizing SAP S/4HANA MM functionalities to meet specific business needs.
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of SAP S/4HANA MM processes.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP S/4HANA MM functionality.
- Collaborating with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA MM with other systems.
- Participating in the design and execution of testing plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP S/4HANA MM configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) Functional Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and supporting SAP S/4HANA MM modules.
- APIs: Understanding of APIs and their role in system integration.
- Procurement: Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, including Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), and RFQ and Quotation processes.
- Inventory Management: Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Master Data: Experience with Master Data management and governance within SAP.
- Integration: Ability to design and implement integrations between SAP S/4HANA MM and other systems.
- Source Determination: Knowledge of Source Determination techniques within SAP.
- Purchase Contracts & Scheduling Agreements: Experience configuring and managing Purchase Contracts and Scheduling Agreements.
- Release Strategy & Flexible Workflow: Understanding of Release Strategy and Flexible Workflow configuration within SAP.
- Goods Receipt & Invoice Verification: Experience with Goods Receipt and Invoice Verification processes.
- Stock Transport Orders (STO): Knowledge of Stock Transport Orders (STO) and their usage.
- Subcontracting & Consignment: Experience with Subcontracting and Consignment processes within SAP.
- Service Procurement: Understanding of Service Procurement processes within SAP.
- Physical Inventory: Experience with Physical Inventory processes and related SAP functionalities.
- Account Determination & Valuation: Knowledge of Account Determination and Valuation principles within SAP.
- Document Types & Number Ranges: Experience with Document Types and Number Ranges configuration.
- Pricing Conditions: Understanding of Pricing Conditions within SAP.
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Experience Required: A minimum of 7 - 7 years of experience in a similar role is expected. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of independently managing complex SAP S/4HANA MM projects and providing expert guidance to others.
