Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MM professional to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in pan india, supporting a single opening within the IT / Technology industry.
Key Responsibilities
The SAP MM professional will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to Materials Management within the SAP environment. This includes, but is not limited to, managing procurement processes, inventory levels, warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient goods movement throughout the supply chain. The role requires a deep understanding of SAP MM functionalities and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- SAP MM Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in SAP MM modules, including configuration, customization, and best practice implementation.
- SAP Retail Knowledge: Experience with SAP Retail functionalities, particularly in relation to retail-specific materials management processes.
- Business Process Understanding: Strong understanding of core business processes related to procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific considerations, including Fashion, Health, Hard Goods, and Food, to ensure appropriate SAP configuration and support.
- SAP Projects Experience: Proven ability to participate in and contribute to successful SAP project implementations.
- Solution Design & Business Requirements: Ability to translate business requirements into detailed SAP solution designs.
- Master Data Management: Expertise in managing Retail Master Data, including Merchandise Hierarchy, Article Hierarchy, Article Master, and Article Categories.
- Site and Assortment Management: Experience with Site Master, Assortment & Layout Management, and Pricing & Valuation.
- Warehouse Management (SAP WM): Solid understanding of SAP WM functionalities, including Warehouse Organization Structure, Placement Strategies, Picking Strategies, Inventory Counting, and Warehouse Processes.
- Inventory Control: Expertise in Batch Management, Serial Number Management, and Physical Inventory.
- Logistics & Transportation: Experience with Transportation Route Setup and integration with other SAP modules.
- Reporting & Analytics: Ability to generate and interpret reports and queries related to inventory and warehouse management.
- Lean Principles: Familiarity with Lean principles and their application to process optimization.
- Advanced Warehouse Management: Experience with Full Warehouse Management, Extended Warehouse Management, and 3PL Warehouse Integration.
- Procurement Expertise: Strong understanding of Procurement, Internal Procurement, and P2P Processes.
- Warehouse Technologies: Experience with RF Barcode Scanner Solution, RF Scanners, and Label Printer.
- SAP Integration: Ability to integrate SAP with other systems, including Finance and Accounting, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Sales and Distribution.
- SAP Best Practice: Knowledge of SAP Best Practice methodologies.
- Fit Gap Analysis: Ability to perform Fit Gap Analysis and propose solutions.
- RICEF Development: Experience with RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Customizations) development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in User Exit, Interface, and EDI Interfaces.
- Third-Party Integration: Experience integrating SAP with Third Party Systems.
- Solution Automation: Ability to automate processes using Micro Service and Middleware Integration.
- Dell Boomi: Experience with Dell Boomi for integration purposes.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Strong Troubleshooting skills, including Debugging Skills, and the ability to work with Business Users and Stakeholders.
- Labeling Requirement: Understanding of Labeling Requirement and Multilanguage Environment.
- Customs & Taxation: Knowledge of Customs Process and Taxation.
- IDOC Monitoring: Experience with IDOC Monitoring.
- Consulting Skills: Strong Consulting Skills.
- SLAs: Understanding of SLAs.
Experience Required: The ideal candidate will possess 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in SAP MM implementation and support. This level of experience indicates a senior-level understanding of SAP best practices and the ability to independently manage complex SAP MM projects.
