Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in automotive electrical systems and a proven ability to design and develop complex wiring harnesses using Catia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems for our automotive products. Responsibilities Design and develop complex wiring harness layouts for automotive applications using Catia software. Experience in the electrical wiring and harness design and development, system design encompassing the entire wire design lifecycle. Conduct feasibility studies and technical analysis to optimize harness design for performance, cost, and weight. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless integration of harness designs. Perform electrical calculations and simulations to verify harness performance and compliance with industry standards. Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for harness assemblies. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in harness design and manufacturing. Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in automotive electrical systems design and development. Strong proficiency in Catia for harness design. In-depth understanding of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, components, and safety standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
