Skill Set : LSDYNA, ANSA/HM/Primer for pre and Hyperview/ Metapost for post, ATD positioning, restraints modeling and simulation, sled and full vehicle occupant simulation
Domain knowledge: Regulatory and Public domain requirements for all loadcases, NCAP scoring points, good understanding of structure interaction with restraints for occupant protection, restraint system function and tuning.
Job Description
Perform full vehicle and subsystem crash worthiness and occupant safety simulations
Build, integrate and debug subsystem models like restraints, seats, dummies, interiors and airbags
setup ATD models , evaluate injury metrics and propose design changes,
correlate sled and full vehicle crash tests.
work closely with design, attribute and supplier teams for design iterations, optimizations
document reports, present results and recommendation to customer.
