CAD Automation Manager (NX Open)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Automation Manager (NX Open) to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading and executing CAD automation initiatives, leveraging NX Open and other related technologies to enhance design efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in CAD, automation, and software development, coupled with proven team management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The CAD Automation Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Leading and managing a team of CAD automation engineers.
• Developing and implementing CAD automation solutions using NX Open, C#, C++, and Python.
• Collaborating with design engineers to identify and address automation opportunities.
• Ensuring the quality and reliability of CAD automation tools and processes.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in CAD automation.
• Managing KBE (Knowledge Base Engine) development and maintenance.
• Utilizing Git and Azure DevOps for version control and continuous integration.
• Employing Agile Delivery methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production or a related discipline.
• 8 - 12 years of experience in CAD automation, with a focus on NX Open development.
• Proficiency in NX Open, C#, C++, and Python programming languages.
• Strong understanding of CAD principles, including Part Modelling, Assemblies, and Drafting.
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Solid knowledge of Software Design Principles and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming).
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and PMI (Product and Manufacturing Information).
• Experience with Manufacturing Constraints and WAVE (Work Instructions for Visual Execution).
• Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Jira for issue tracking and project management.
• Familiarity with AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) and Generative Design concepts.
• Understanding of ITK (Information Technology Knowledge) principles.
