Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Loads Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to vehicle loads and dynamic analysis within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and a proven ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

The Loads Engineer will be responsible for the generation, analysis, and validation of vehicle loads. This includes the application of dynamic analysis, vibration fatigue, and DOE methodologies to ensure vehicle performance and durability. The role will also involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate load data into the overall vehicle development process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A PhD, M.E/M.Tech, or B.E/B.Tech degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or Design Engineering is required.
• Experience: 5-9 years of experience in a related engineering role is expected, demonstrating a solid foundation in loads engineering principles and practices. This level of experience indicates a capacity for independent work and contribution to complex projects.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in the use of industry-standard software tools, including:
  • Adams/View: Expertise in utilizing Adams/View for creating and analyzing vehicle loads.
  • Adams/Car: Experience with Adams/Car for vehicle dynamics simulation.
  • Insight: Ability to leverage Insight for data analysis and visualization.
  • Motion View: Familiarity with Motion View for visualizing motion data.
  • Hypergraph: Skill in using Hypergraph for data processing and analysis.
  • NASTRAN: Knowledge of NASTRAN for finite element analysis.
  • MATLAB: Proficiency in MATLAB for numerical computation and simulation.
  • Simulink: Experience with Simulink for dynamic system modeling.
  • Adams Command Language: Ability to utilize Adams Command Language for scripting and automation.
  • Python: Programming skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting data, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful conclusions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills are required to effectively address and resolve complex engineering challenges.
