• Expert Java Development: Strong proficiency in the Java programming language, with experience developing both front-end (UI) and back-end logic for standalone applications.
• Ability to work with Java API’s: Interface with commercial engineering analysis software via Java API framework.
• Version Control and Build Tools: Experience using Git and GitHub for source code management, and familiarity with building Java Applications using build automation tools, like Gradle.
• CrossPlatform Execution and Scripting: Comfortable navigating and executing tools in both Windows and Linux operating systems. Ability to write and maintain automation and execution scripts using common scripting languages such as Bash, Windows .bat, Python, Perl.
• Engineering Team Integration: Collaborate with simulation engineers to translate workflow requirements into robust automation solutions, and track development work in Jira to ensure traceability from requirements to delivery. Document workflows, provide user guides, and train team members on using the automation tools.
