Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded C - FUSA engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in embedded systems development, with a particular focus on Functional Safety and Automotive communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

The Embedded C - FUSA engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of embedded software components related to Functional Safety and automotive communication. This includes adherence to industry standards and best practices to ensure the highest levels of quality and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Embedded C: Demonstrated proficiency in developing embedded software using C, with a strong understanding of memory management, data structures, and real-time operating systems.
• AUTOSAR: Comprehensive knowledge of the AUTOSAR architecture and its components, including the ability to design and implement AUTOSAR-compliant software modules.
• Functional Safety: Deep understanding of Functional Safety principles and the ISO 26262 standard, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety requirements derivation.
• BSW: Experience in the development and integration of the BSW (Basic Software) layer, including drivers, services, and communication stacks.
• MCAL: Familiarity with MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer) and the ability to adapt and customize MCAL modules for specific microcontroller platforms.
• RTE: Experience with RTE (Runtime Environment) and its configuration, including the ability to define communication matrices and manage inter-component communication.
• SWC: Ability to develop and integrate SWC (Software Component) modules according to AUTOSAR specifications.
• Vector DaVinci Configurator: Proficiency in using Vector DaVinci Configurator for AUTOSAR configuration and development.
• EB tresos: Experience with EB tresos for AUTOSAR development and configuration.
• ASIL: Understanding of ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) classifications and their implications for software development.
• MISRA C: Adherence to MISRA C coding standards to ensure code quality and safety.
• ASPICE: Familiarity with ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) and its application to software development processes.
• CAN, CAN FD: Strong knowledge of CAN and CAN FD protocols and their implementation in embedded systems.
• UDS: Understanding of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocol and its use for vehicle diagnostics.
• Automotive Communication Protocols: Expertise in various Automotive Communication Protocols beyond CAN and UDS.
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Debugging: Proven ability to perform thorough Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Debugging of embedded software.
• Code Reviews: Experience conducting and participating in Code Reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Experience Required: 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on automotive applications. This level of experience indicates a proficiency in independently designing, developing, and testing embedded software components, as well as collaborating effectively within a team environment.
