Embedded C Developer, AUTOSAR

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded C Developer to join our team in Bangalore. This role will focus on the development and integration of embedded software for automotive applications, utilizing AUTOSAR architecture and adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Embedded C Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of ECU software, from design and development to testing and integration. This includes contributing to the development of robust and efficient embedded systems that meet stringent automotive quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Embedded C Programming: Demonstrated proficiency in Embedded C programming, including a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory management techniques.
• AUTOSAR Architecture: Solid understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and its principles, including experience with its various modules and configurations.
• CAN Communication Protocols: Expertise in CAN communication protocols, including the ability to design, implement, and test CAN-based communication systems.
• ECU Software Development: Experience in the complete ECU software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and integration.
• ECU Integration: Ability to integrate ECU software components with hardware and other software modules, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
• ECU Debugging: Strong debugging skills with experience using debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve software defects in embedded systems.
• Automotive Embedded Systems: A comprehensive understanding of automotive embedded systems, including their architecture, operation, and challenges.
• CANoe & CANalyzer: Experience using CANoe and CANalyzer for CAN network simulation, analysis, and testing.
• MISRA C Guidelines: Familiarity with MISRA C guidelines and the ability to apply them to ensure code quality and safety.
• CAN-FD & LIN: Knowledge of CAN-FD and LIN communication protocols and their applications in automotive systems.
• UDS: Understanding of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocol and its role in automotive diagnostics.

Experience Required: 4 - 7 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably within the automotive industry. This level of experience indicates a seasoned professional capable of working independently and contributing to complex projects.
