Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Design Release Engineers to join our team in Chennai. This role will support our automotive operations, focusing on design release and engineering activities. We have 29 openings for this position.

Key Responsibilities

The Design Release Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful release of product designs, including thorough analysis and validation to meet manufacturing and performance requirements. This includes conducting feasibility studies and collaborating with various engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background: A B.E./B. Tech or M.E/ M. Tech degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Experience: 4-9 years of relevant experience in design release and engineering within the automotive or a related industry is expected. This level of experience indicates a strong foundation in design principles and a proven ability to manage complex engineering projects.
• CATIA: Proficiency in CATIA is essential, including experience with both modeling and surfacing.
• Enovia: Experience with Enovia, a PLM system, is required for managing product lifecycle data.
• Product Design & Development: Demonstrated expertise in CProduct Design and Product Development processes, from concept to release.
• Component Design: Strong understanding of Component Design principles and best practices.
• System Level Designing: Ability to contribute to System Level Designing activities, ensuring seamless integration of components.
• Surfacing: Skilled in Surfacing techniques for creating complex geometries.
• Manufacturing Feasibility Study: Ability to conduct thorough Manufacturing Feasibility Study to assess producibility.
• Assembly Feasibility Study: Ability to conduct thorough Assembly Feasibility Study to assess producibility.
• Injection Molding: Knowledge of Injection Molding processes and considerations.
• Thermoforming: Understanding of Thermoforming processes.
• Blow Molding: Understanding of Blow Molding processes.
• Compression Molding: Understanding of Compression Molding processes.
• Plastic Materials: Knowledge of various Plastic Materials and their properties.
• Motion Simulation: Experience with Motion Simulation tools for validating designs.
• CATIA Customization: Ability to perform CATIA Customization to meet specific project needs.
• Presentation Skills: Excellent Presentation Skills for effectively communicating design concepts and findings.
• Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• MS-Office: Proficiency in MS-Office suite for documentation and reporting.
• Google G-Suite: Proficiency in Google G-Suite for collaboration and communication.
