Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role will focus on developing and implementing robust security measures within our Automotive Embedded Systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Cybersecurity Principles and a proven ability to apply them to real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing security-critical software components. This includes implementing Secure Boot mechanisms, ensuring Secure Time Validation, and detecting Time Tampering. The role also involves contributing to the overall Secure Architecture Design of our platforms and participating in Penetration Testing activities to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Cyber Security: A comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• C: Proficiency in C programming for developing low-level, performance-critical security components.
• C++: Strong skills in C++ for building complex and scalable security solutions.
• Android: Familiarity with the Android operating system and its security features.
• QNX: Experience with the QNX real-time operating system, particularly in the context of embedded systems.
• Secure Time Management: Expertise in managing time securely, including RTC (Real-Time Clock) and Timezone Management.
• Automotive Embedded Systems: A solid understanding of Automotive Embedded Systems and their unique security considerations.
• Embedded Software Development: Proven experience in Embedded Software Development, with a focus on security.
• Cybersecurity Principles: A deep understanding of core Cybersecurity Principles and their application.
• Threat Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough Threat Analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Secure Architecture Design: Experience in designing Secure Architecture for embedded systems.
• Platform-Level Debugging: Proficiency in Platform-Level Debugging techniques to identify and resolve security issues.
• Secure Boot: Knowledge of Secure Boot mechanisms and their implementation.
• Secure Time Validation: Ability to implement and maintain Secure Time Validation processes.
• Time Tampering Detection: Experience in developing Time Tampering Detection mechanisms.
• Cryptographic Services: Familiarity with Cryptographic Services and their application in embedded systems.
• Trusted Execution Environments: Understanding of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and their role in security.
• Automotive Standards: Knowledge of relevant Automotive Standards related to cybersecurity.
• Platform-Level Services: Experience with Platform-Level Services and their security implications.

• Trusted Time Sources: Understanding of Trusted Time Sources and their importance in security.
