CAE Modeler - Senior

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAE Modeler - Senior to join our team in Chennai, within the automotive industry. As a CAE Modeler - Senior, you will play a critical role in the development and analysis of complex engineering models, leveraging your expertise in CAE tools and methodologies to drive innovation and excellence. With a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in CAE modeling, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing models for simulation, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CAE tools such as Hypermesh, ANSA, LsDyna, and Hyperworks, and will be able to apply their knowledge to drive the development of cutting-edge automotive solutions. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a keen eye for detail, you will be well-equipped to navigate the complexities of CAE modeling and contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CAE models for simulation and analysis using tools such as Hypermesh, ANSA, and Hyperworks.
• Utilize LsDyna for dynamic simulations and analyze results to inform design decisions.
• Leverage Hypercrash and Primer to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of CAE models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CAE results into the product development process.
• Manage and maintain CAE data using TeamCentre.
• Create reports and presentations using MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to communicate CAE findings and insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in CAE modeling and analysis, with expertise in the following skills:

• Hypermesh: Proficient in using Hypermesh for CAE model preparation and meshing.
• ANSA: Experienced in utilizing ANSA for CAE model development and optimization.
• LsDyna: Skilled in applying LsDyna for dynamic simulations and analysis.
• TeamCentre: Familiarity with TeamCentre for CAE data management.
• Hypercrash and Primer: Knowledgeable in using Hypercrash and Primer to enhance CAE model efficiency and accuracy.
• Hyperworks: Proficient in utilizing Hyperworks for CAE modeling and analysis.
• MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint): Skilled in creating reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E – Mechanical) is required for this role.
