Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Testlab Technical Area Flex Resource to join our team. This role will provide flexible support to various testing activities within our aerospace test laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information.

Key Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for providing flexible support to various testing activities within our aerospace test laboratory environment. Specific responsibilities will be assigned based on current project needs and resource availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions. This includes the ability to interpret test results and identify potential issues.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems in a timely and effective manner. This includes the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and develop creative solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, data analysis, and presentation purposes.
• Mechanical Systems: A strong understanding of mechanical systems, including principles of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Hydraulic Systems: Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including components, operation, and maintenance procedures.
• Electromechanical Systems: Familiarity with electromechanical systems, including principles of operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Canape: Experience with Canape software for data acquisition and analysis.
• LabVIEW: Proficiency in LabVIEW for programming and automating test equipment.
• PUMA: Experience with PUMA robotic systems for automated testing.
• Thermal Chamber: Experience operating and maintaining Thermal Chamber equipment.
• Endurance Test: Knowledge of endurance testing methodologies and procedures.
• Electromechanical Test Setup: Ability to design and implement Electromechanical Test Setup configurations.
• Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety procedures and practices within a laboratory environment.

Experience Required: A minimum of 16 years of experience in a related field is required. This level of experience indicates a high degree of proficiency and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate should be able to apply their extensive knowledge to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to the overall success of the team.
