SRE Engineer

Job Summary

The SRE Engineer is a critical role in our IT organization, responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our technology infrastructure. This hybrid role is based in Chennai and requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

As an SRE Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC principles
• Ensuring the reliability and performance of systems through System Administration, Troubleshooting, and Performance Tuning
• Analyzing and optimizing system performance using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry
• Developing and maintaining applications using Go and ensuring adherence to Security Best Practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective Communication Skills and issue resolution
• Profiling and optimizing code using Code Profiling techniques
• Conducting System Analysis and Configuration Tuning to optimize system performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 6+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Platform Engineering and System Administration
• Proficiency in GCP, Postgres, and Terraform
• Strong programming skills in Go
• Experience with Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability
• Strong Analytical Skills, Problem-Solving Skills, and Communication Skills
