Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This is an onsite position within the IT / Technology industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and a proven ability to solve complex problems, with experience in Hyperion and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve a range of responsibilities related to Essbase and related systems, including but not limited to:

Data Validation and Data Reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
Month End Activities to support accurate financial reporting.
Scenario Management, including opening and closing scenarios.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.
Production Release Coordination to ensure smooth deployments.
Application Migration activities to support system upgrades and transitions.
Outline Management and Metadata Maintenance to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Essbase Backup and Essbase Recovery procedures to safeguard data.
Essbase Optimization and Performance Tuning to maximize system efficiency.
ETL processes to ensure data flows seamlessly.
Testing and Development activities to support system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and insights.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency:

Strong experience with Hyperion, including Essbase.
Proficiency in Essbase Calculation Scripts and Essbase Maxl Commands.
Experience with Essbase Partitions, including Transparent, Replicated, and Linked configurations.
Familiarity with ASO and BSO architectures.
Experience with Aggregate Storage and Block Storage.
Proficiency in Essbase SmartView and Excel Add-in.
Experience with LCM for Application Migration.
Knowledge of Autosys for Job Maintenance, including Create Jobs, Update Jobs, and Delete Jobs.
Experience with Encryption and Anonymization techniques.

Financial Planning and Budgeting experience.
Forecasting skills.
End-User Support experience.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience Required: A minimum of 10 years of experience is expected, demonstrating a high level of seniority and expertise in the field.
