Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back-end Software Development Engineering Engineer 3 to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This is a hybrid role within the IT / Technology industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in back-end development principles and a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems. This role requires a focus on building efficient and reliable APIs and microservices, as well as contributing to the overall architecture and performance of our applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Java: Extensive experience in Java programming, including object-oriented design principles and best practices.
• Spring Boot: Proficiency in developing applications using the Spring Boot framework, including dependency injection, auto-configuration, and Spring Data.
• AI: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts and their application in software development.
• PostgreSQL: Strong experience with relational database design and development using PostgreSQL.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• LLMs: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their integration into software applications.
• Code-analysis: Ability to perform code reviews and identify potential issues.
• Microservices: Experience in designing and developing microservices architectures.
• APIs: Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Prompt Design: Ability to craft effective prompts for LLMs to achieve desired outcomes.
• Test Generation: Experience in generating automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Refactoring Assistance: Ability to assist in refactoring existing codebases to improve maintainability and performance.
• Dependency Analysis: Ability to analyze software dependencies and identify potential conflicts.
• Impact Assessment: Ability to assess the impact of code changes on existing systems.

Experience Required: 6 + years of experience in back-end software development. This level of seniority requires a self-directed individual capable of working independently and contributing to technical decision-making.
